Ragazza di la fontana
During my last visit to Old San Juan, I stopped for a while in the Quincentennial Plaza’s fountains to look at the little kids have fun while getting into the fountain. It’s almost a classic thing to do in it; what are you supposed to do when you find a fountain coming right out of the floor you’re stepping on? While I was watching the children play, something caught my eye. I stopped and thought for a second “those aren’t kids”, and just burst out laughing. Three teenaged (or older) girls were running around in the fountains, laughing, pushing each other into the water. A very fun, unexpected sight. This was one of those girls.
